My granddaughter loves her T-shirts with the “Frozen” princesses on them, and I feel like a princess myself when I wear T-shirts in colors such as pink, aqua and purple – tones that, no doubt, “Frozen” princesses Elsa and Anna would appreciate.
T-shirts are staples of our Florida resort lifestyles because they are comfortable, colorful and easy to care for. Today’s tees also come in a variety of necklines and styles.
Anthony’s has such amazing women resort tops and T-shirts. Anthony’s knows women’s fashion and Florida resort style! They’ve been at this game for more than 100 years.
Here are my 3 rules for terrific T-shirts:
Pay attention to the neckline.
Anthony’s has beautiful and comfortable burnout tees by Coconut Row Palm Beach that feature a great neckline – a wide rounded neckline that shows off some collarbone. You want to show collarbone! Show skin where you’re thin! Plus, round necklines are great to show off jewelry.
A square neckline, wide-rounded neckline or a V-neck is also flattering – because it shows some skin but not too much. Check out the spring collection by Alfred Dunner featuring the square-neck T-shirts.
A wider round neck, a V-neck or a square neck is more flattering than a crewneck top that is tight to the base of the neck.
Pay attention to sleeve length.
An elbow-length sleeve or 3/4 sleeve is a good option is you like to camouflage your arms. Anthony’s Toni Morgan shirts feature flattering roll-up sleeves that hit at the elbow. If you like to show off your arms you would probably prefer a short sleeve or cap sleeve style. Toni Morgan has a short sleeve basic tee with ruching on the sleeve for an elevated look.

Val’s tip of the week: Break your normal routine
This is the time of year to get outside. Try a new outdoor café. Head to Lake Worth Beach and enjoy a meal at Mulligan’s – you can see, hear and feel the ocean. We came to Florida to enjoy the outdoors, so let’s get to it!
