The White Linen Cocktail
To go with your lovely new white pants and shorts, you may want to try a new cocktail too! This one is refreshing for summer. It's called the "White Linen Cocktail" by Lively Table.
This cocktail is crisp and refreshing - made with gin, elderflower liquor, cucumber, lime, and 7UP!
Ingredients
-5-6 cucumber slices
-1/2 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
-1 1/2 oz gin
-1/2 oz elderflower liqueur
-2 oz 7UP (or diet 7UP)
-Ice
-Optional: cucumber slices and lime slices for garnish
Instructions
Muddle cucumber slices in a shaker. Add ice, lime juice, gin, and elderflower liqueur and shake vigorously. Strain mixture into a cocktail glass filled with ice. Top with 7UP and stir. Garnish with lime and cucumber slices, if you wish. Enjoy!
Notes from Lively Table: To make a pitcher, slice 1 cucumber and place in a pitcher with 3 oz lime juice, 9 oz gin, and 3 oz elderflower liqueur. Refrigerate 1-2 hours. Add 12 oz 7UP just before serving. Pour into glasses filled with ice.
