2019 is almost here, and many of us are making resolutions to get in better shape. However, we may need some inspiration. But really, all it takes to get started is more movement. After all, we have the perfect weather in Florida to make our fitness resolutions happen for 2019!

Write Your Goals Down
Start 2019 with positive vibes and a fresh perspective. Try writing down your fitness goals. Put them somewhere where you can see them daily - so that you are constantly reminded. Make your goals specific, so that you will take them seriously. Create bullet points that you can check off. For example, add steps like: take a walk from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. on weekdays. This will train your mind to focus
Be Realistic with Your Goals
Think about why you want to change and what you need to do to make it happen. But don't go overboard and commit to something that you won't stick to. For example: Ask yourself questions based on your lifestyle. These small changes will become part of your routine. So, remind yourself of why you want to get in better shape and don't forget about your steps to get there!
Make Up a Routine You Can Stick To
Put your workouts on your calendar, set your alarm for a morning beach walk, and be more aware of moving more throughout the day. Do not let yourself get off track because then you will have a harder time getting back ON track. If you know you will not be able to work out on a certain day, make it up the next day. You can try parking further away at the grocery store so that you can walk more, take the stairs, and stand up more. Also, find exercise that you enjoy doing. Florida is the perfect place for taking walks outside and also for swimming! So, on that note...

Whatever your 2019 steps to fitness are, just remember to stick with them. You are guaranteed to see some results. As long as you put in the effort, you will see a daily transformation.
