Staying motivated and feeling rejuvenated during a season change isn't always easy, but spring thrives on brightness, so focus on setting intentions that feel uplifting and expansive. Nurturing your health, carving out time for creativity, and tackling small projects around the house are all excellent goals to kick off the season.
I also suggest doing a calming ritual when setting your goals: open your windows and let in fresh air, enliven your space with new plants or fresh flowers, or simply light a few nicely scented candles to foster a pleasant environment as you brainstorm your vision for what you'd like to achieve this spring.
Plan for Success
Refining your time management skills is always a great goal to set for yourself. By getting better at planning ahead, you set yourself up for success, and your future self will reap the benefits. An effort made now is a promise for future relaxation. For instance, you can prepare for the next day by tidying up your house before bedtime. Tiny expressions of care for one's future self keep the mind and body calm. Once you get into the habit of planning ahead, you'll have less to stress about and more time to enjoy the present moment.
Refresh Your (Out)Look
Add a touch of spring with some colorful new outfits. Pinks, blues, and purples will refresh your wardrobe with the optimism of springtime. I also encourage you to find clothes that flatter your body and make you feel great. To exude confidence, you should be comfortable in your clothes, both in terms of fit and look.

Let Go of Clutter
Procrastinating on projects is something almost everybody can relate to. To jumpstart your progress, elicit a friend to help with overwhelming tasks such as cleaning out the garage, getting rid of old and unneeded paperwork, and digitizing boxes of printed photographs. The hardest part is getting started, but if you have someone at your side, you'll find your decluttering goals easier to approach. Even if they can't be there for the entire process, their presence at the beginning can be invaluable.
Spring Clean Your State of Mind
If you practice using positive language and pause before speaking (both to yourself and others), you can teach yourself to be less harsh and impulsive with your words. We tend to be hardest on ourselves and our loved ones, so it might be worth a try to be kinder.
If you find yourself being overly critical of yourself for not achieving your goals as you originally envisioned, try not to get discouraged and instead focus on what you have accomplished. You're not a failure because you fell off the horse; the challenge now is to find the courage to get back on. Reframe the experience as an opportunity for personal growth.

Open Yourself to Change
It can be helpful to open yourself up to the unexpected if you're feeling stagnant in life. Make a point of seeing an unfamiliar musical act live. For a fun bonding experience, try a cold plunge or an escape room with friends. Challenges build self-esteem and connection. I recently invited a friend from New York to go horseback riding on the beach. She loved it so much that she's gonna start taking lessons!
The idea of change doesn't come easily to most, so just do one thing differently and find your own rhythm. Whatever your goals are, find something to focus on each day rather than juggling too many projects, and narrow your list to a few impactful ideas to avoid being overwhelmed.
Whatever goals you choose to pursue, keep moving forward and remember to celebrate your wins!
