From the moment the Cape Cruisettes arrived together, all six women stepping out of one car, laughing, talking over one another, and moving as one, it was clear this was not just a group of friends. This was a chosen family.
Their weeks are marked by martini mahjong nights, their years by shared adventures, and their calendar always includes at least one annual cruise, where matching Anthony’s outfits is not just encouraged, it is tradition.
And it is not just the women. Their husbands are part of the circle too, often joining in on gatherings, travel, and plenty of laughs. On one memorable occasion, the ladies even convinced their NASCAR-loving husbands to wear matching shirts, proof that true friendship is contagious.

They have celebrated the births of grandchildren. They have walked through loss side by side. And when one couple was displaced after a hurricane, another couple in the group opened their home, providing love, stability, and shelter for three months while repairs were underway.

They range in age from 58 to 76, and each woman brings her own personality and style. Individually, they are incredible, but together, they create something even more powerful.

Nancy is the heart of the group. She was introduced to Anthony’s by her mother more than 20 years ago and has loved it ever since. She gravitates toward dressy tops and creative details, and her closet, she jokes, might as well live at Anthony’s.
Beverly loves mixing animal prints with denim and reaches for skorts as her go-to staple. A fishing enthusiast, she is living her dream life by the water on Saint James Island.
Linda brings a warm, sisterly energy to the group. She loves dancing, painting, 70s music, comedy, and spending time with her grandchildren. Her favorite food is lasagna, and her spontaneity keeps everyone smiling.
Mary Ann is the sporty spark of the group. Pickleball is her passion, and clothes that move with her are a must. Her smile and energy light up any room she walks into.
Bobbie, a retired Air Force Chief, has traveled the world many times over. The group describes her as someone you can always count on, with a heart as big as her itinerary. She is currently on a four-month cruise around the world, because that is simply how she lives.
Toni is the group’s design and style icon. She has a natural eye for detail and a love of making things feel special, whether that means curating the perfect look or adding a creative touch that brings everyone together. Nowhere is that more evident than in her transformation of the group’s beloved flamingo mascot, Flossy, whom Toni turned into a glamorous, feathered, bling-covered icon. It is a small detail that perfectly reflects Toni’s personality and the joy this group brings to everything they do.
