What does “Palm Beach style” mean? Anthony’s resort wear for women has been providing the answer for 125 years – from crisp white dresses to navy blue blazers.
Have Fun With Spring and Summer Styles
As spring leads to summer – and our Sunny Style temperatures reach the 90s! – Palm Beach style means prints…and right now I am really loving all of the floral prints.
Floral prints make every woman look pretty as a postcard. And pretty never goes out of style.
One of my favorite floral-print purchases so far this spring is a fit-and-flare sundress by London Times. I got it at Anthony’s, of course – they sell dress styles that make my figure look great. This dress is a red-and-blue floral print, which I like because it’s flowery and feminine, yet the color is unexpected.
My hubby Marv loves this dress because it is fitted on the top, then it flares out into a full skirt. I plan to wear this to dinner on our upcoming cruise.
Of course, I needed a new bathing suit for the cruise, too…so I picked up a gorgeous one-piece from Penbrooke. It’s a beautiful floral print, and it’s so flattering – because of the deep-V neckline and the attractive twisting of the fabric at the bodice.
(If you dread swimsuit shopping, here’s a tip: Shop Anthony's swimwear apparel and order a couple styles from Anthony’s online. This way, you can try the suits on in your home, and you can always return them by mail or at any of Anthony’s 13 stores if you aren’t perfectly happy.)
My pretty floral prints from Anthony’s give me a bright pop of happiness every time I spot them in my closet.
Love to enjoy a blooming Florida spring?
Val’s ‘happy’ tip of the week: Check out the lush landscaping at South Florida’s luxury hotels. I love to go to The Breakers in Palm Beach and just walk around and look at all the flowers and lush greenery. Have a coffee and watch visitors play croquet on the croquet lawn. Or sip a cocktail at the Seafood Bar. Get your valet parking ticket validated, and you can park for free.
